My supervisor told me that once I run out of FMLA time he is going to immediately fire me if I take any more time off. Is this legal?
While it is generally legal to terminate an employee for FMLA-type absences over the 12-week limit, it is also illegal to terminate an employee in retaliation for taking an FMLA-protected leave. So, if your supervisor actually terminates you because he is angry about the protected leave you took earlier, this is a violation.
