I use written employment contracts with some but not all of my employees. Any problems with that type of arrangement?

Written contracts may or may not be used to memorialize an employment relationship. An employer may have strong business reasons to offer written contracts to some, but not all, employees. This is within an employer’s discretion, provided that contractual rights are not given to some employees and denied to others for some unlawfully discriminatory reason (e.g., race, gender, national origin, and age).
