To log into my office computer, my company is going to install a fingerprinting machine. If I refuse, I run the risk of losing my job. Is this legal?

Your company is entitled to do so; they have a legitimate interest in protecting their intellectual property. In today's tech age, many firms with high security needs require fingerprinting or retinal identification before accessing work premises, buildings, or machines. You might ask your boss, however, to do some "P.R." work, explaining to its workers the rational for the proposed fingerprinting identification plan.
